Early 1 Gallon Glazed Stoneware Shoulder Jug with Finger Handle. Description: A great-looking one gallon stoneware shoulder jug with a single handle. It stands 9 inches tall with a 1/4 unglazed, shoulder edge. Take notice of the special characteristics with a short neck, wide shoulders and straight body. The creamy, natural tone will blend well with most décor and will make an amazing accent piece in any room of your home. Note : Refer to “Condition” for additional information. Circa : Probably Earlier Part of 1900s. Care : Hand Wash Only. Dimensions: Height: 9″ Width (at base): 7 ¾” Shoulder Edge: 1/4″ Bore Opening at Top: 1″. Product Weight : 5 pounds 6 ounces. Primary Material : Stoneware – Clay. Makers Marks: No Visible Makers’ Marks. Condition : Previously owned – used. Condition is considered good with no cracks. Handle and jug is strong. One ¼chips on bottom edge. Some small chips below and around shoulder edge. Wear – Scuffing around body (as shown). Most product is acquired from auctions and estate sales.
