2 FRENCH ANTIQUE STONEWARE POTTERY JASPE MUGS VINTAGE SAVOIE ALSACE FRANCE. Here is a rare pair of jaspe mugs. They are nearly identical in size. Both have horizontal jaspe patterns around the center in green and cream. Both are in very good condition. The glaze is completely worn off the rim of one of them and in spots on the other as well as on the high points of the handle on one mug. Glaze is a rich brick color on the outside and orangey in the interior. The underside of the mugs are black from use on the fire. Perhaps a hot drink after skiing in the French Alps.
