Adam Green New Brunswick NJ Stoneware Cobalt Glaze Bird Crock
This is a gorgeous 3-gallon stoneware crock made and marked by ADAM GREEN / NEW BRUNSWICK, N. Beautifully decorated New Brunswick pottery such as this are rare. The bird crocks being the most desirable. Crock measures approximately 9.5-inch tall by 10.75-inch wide. This crock was a centerpiece of my New Brunswick stoneware pottery collection and I have not seen another bird crock from New Brunswick in 3-gallon size ever since. The crock is in exceptional, near mint condition with only one small chip on the base about 1/2 inch wide. It is an old chip as seen by the usewear and patina of the piece.
