Antique Royal Doulton Puzzle Jug Stoneware Art Pottery 1882 – 1891. Rare and unique puzzle jug by Royal Doulton. All the markings are on the bottom. These were produced between 1882 to 1891. The writing on the side reads; “Here gentlemen come try your skill I’ll hold a wager if you will that you don’t drink this liquor all without you spill or let some fall” 6.75″ tall 5″ in length 3.5 in diameter Weighs 1lb 4oz. Condition as shown in the pictures. It looks like the handle was glued back on. A chip on the bottom of the foot. A piece of the top edge is broken off as well. Price reflects the damage.
