Description: This one gallon, salt glaze stoneware jug from the 19th Century stands 9 ½ tall and weighs just over 5 pounds. It showcases nice, natural color tones with aged patina. The two turkey drippings present on the body of the jug which originated from the kiln during the making provides this solid, old jug with loads of character. Will display exceptional in a country or farmhouse setting. Note : Please refer to “Condition” for additional information. Dimensions: Height: 9 ½” Diameter (at widest point at shoulder): 7 3/4″ Diameter (at base): 6 3/4. Product Weight : 5 pounds 4 ounces. Colors : Gray with areas of brown tones. Primary Material : Stoneware, Pottery. Markings : No visible markings. Condition : Previously owned – used. Condition and patina is consistent with age and normal use. Areas of age darkening, patina on exterior with dark patina on base. One ¼ chip on outer edge of lip (as shown). Missing cork or plug in top. Please refer to photographs.
