Pictured is an early one quart advertising whiskey jug available for sale. The stenciled jug reads Old Maryland PURE RYE WHISKEY – G. The company’s logo is stenciled in the center flanked by stems of wheat. The jug measures 6 7/8 in height & dates from 1890 – 1905. The jug is in immaculate condition with no nicks, damage or repairs. It retains all the original gold gilding to the rim, shoulder & handle as well. Note: The coloration of this jug is somewhat of a variant such that it is a light greenish blue versus the traditional light sky/baby blue version which is traditionally seen.
