I’m pleased to offer this “Awesome”. ANTIQUE 4-GALLON Stoneware Pottery BUTTER CHURN. It measures 15-3/4″ tall X 8-5/8″ in diameter at the top and bottom. This primitive, heavy duty ART POTTERY CROCK features integral tab handles and a high gloss 2-tone BROWN GLAZE finish (see images). Marked on the side under glaze in cobalt blue is a Burley & Winter mark stenciled number “4”; framed within a simple heart shape (see images). NICE & CLEAN inside & out; there are minor nicks & imperfections inherent to the making. The original lid has a dark stain on the underside that is not normally visible (see images).
