Pictured is a seldom seen & rare blue & grey Flemish ware tankard pitcher produced by Robinson Clay. (RCPC) in Akron, Ohio offered for sale. The tall, slender pitcher is embossed on but one. Side opposing the handle “DRINK Tivoli — COLORADO’S FAVORITE BEER”. The Tivoli Brewery was. Located in Denver & has a rich history. Before closing in 1969, the Tivoli brewery was the second longest. Continuous operating brewery in the United States. The advertising pitcher has vivid embossed detail & a fine pebbly background, see pic. I’ve pictured the. Pitcher alongside a Monk/Friar blue & grey tankard stein by RCPC to authenticate its origin. 9 7/8″ in height, 5 1/8″ in base diameter, & dates from 1905 – 1920. It’s in excellent condition with no nicks. I’ve attempted to picture two faint stress hairlines (1/2″, 1 1/4″) located on the interior. Rim only, see pics. A great cross-collectible advertising brewery pitcher for the blue & grey Flemish ware. Collector, breweria collector, & the Colorado collector… Note: The Tivoli Brewery recently reopened in 2015 as a micro brewer and offers craft beers.
