Rare 18th Century Salt Glaze Stoneware Lion’s Foot Creamer, England, c. This diminutive three footed creamer has a shaped rim and an applied handle. Each of the three feet has a molded lion’s head at the top of the foot and a lion’s paw at the bottom. This is a very early salt glaze stoneware footed creamer. Above each of the feet there is an embossed floral design to the body of the creamer. The early manufacture can be seen with the applied handle and the shaped body.
