Antique Miller & Fleet Strasburg VA Virginia Stoneware Crock Pottery 1 1/2 Gal

The capacity is 1 1/2 gallon. It is about 11 inches tall. The maker and stamp reads Miller & Fleet Strasburg, VA. These makers are not easy to find. There are no repairs of this crock. The mouth does have a few chips out of it and there are a few chips on the bottom edge. There are some contact marks, rock pops and other flaws done in the making of it. I believe the lighter colored parts were also done in the making. There is one spider crack on the bottom that one line goes up one side about 3 or 4 inches. The crack does go all the way through but does not affect the integrity or strength of this crock. If you plunk on it near the top it still rings true….. Does not sound cracked at all. Overall a fairly decent looking antique Strasburg, VA crock from hard to find makers. Please look at all of the pictures closely as they are part of the description. Thanks for looking and good luck.
