Beautiful Antique hand painted Ceramic or Stoneware Plaque in Relief in dark Wood Frame, depicting Saint Francis Feeding a Deer with a Shepherd style Dog on his side and a Crow Bird in Tree. Paper back with wire hanger. A real great piece of Art Pottery from a prominent Estate in Barrington, Illinois where I found many other treasures. Believed to be from Italy. Size: Plaque is 12 1/4″ x 9 1/2″. With Frame 14 3/8″ wide x 11 5/8″ high x 1 1/2 deep. Weighs 4 5/8 lbs. Condition: Great, without damage or loss of decor. Small invisible restoration touch up on line near bottom, see close up.
