Cobalt Decorated Stoneware Crock w/ Bird, White’s Utica, NY AAFA. Fine small 1 gallon size storage jar or small butter churn. Decorated with a long tailed cobalt blue bird on branch. Decoration typical of the White’s, Utica, NY pottery. Condition is outstanding with only a couple tiny flakes of inner seat rest, and one flake off base. No repairs or restorations. Nice light background color to the pottery. Good clean cobalt decoration with no fry. Hard to find small size and great condition. Size: 7″ diameter x 9″ high. The item “Antique 19th c.
