One Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Philadelphia origin, circa 1860. Ovoid-bodied pitcher with footed base, tooled collar, and applied handle, decorated with a series of large swags and hanging flowers around the waist. Additional foliate decoration to the sides of the collar and flanking the spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Measures 10″ high, 8″ wide. It has a chip on lip of spout and 1 on top edge.
