RARE ANTIQUE FULHAM POTTERY STONEWARE CJC BAILEY JUG c1875 SCROLLING DECORATION

Unusual piece of Fulham Art pottery stoneware by CJC Bailey, similar to Martin Brothers and Doulton Lambeth, who were working close by at the same time. This Jug has incised scrolling decoration to the body and the handle, and measures 7.75 high. The Jug is in very good, vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It does have an incised mark on the base but it has not been well executed and is hard to make out – but you can just see the name’CIC Bailey’ with an underlining, and a capital letter H for the potter/decorator.
