Really nice jar here, profusely decorated. No chips or cracks. Was slightly over salted in the kiln, so blue is slightly blurred in some areas. Rings like a bell.

Very rare stoneware whiskey jug made by Wolfe Londoner. This is handmade, probably from the late 1800’s. Its in good overall condition for being around 150 years old. The crack is just on the outside of the pottery.

This jug is 12 1/2″ tall & 6″ wide at the base. This piece has a stamp near the base, but it is muddled in glaze and hard to make out. I can only clearly see “SC” as shown in last photo inside the circle.
