Antique Blue and White Stoneware Butterfly Butter Crock with Lid

This wonderful blue and white stoneware butter crock features a large butterfly around the crock with a total of four butterflies. The crock is in very good condition with no chips or hairlines except one small chip on the underside of the lid. It does have the normal factory flaws. It is also missing the wire bail handle which is no unusual for these crocks. It is 4 1/2 inches tall with a diameter of 6 1/2 inches. It is the companion piece to the Butterfly pitcher that we all have for sale.
