Antique 4 gallon salt glazed stoneware crock with cobalt blue decorated bee sting or target. Possibly an Ohio piece, please see photos and closeups showing handle shape and incised line below rim. Has a few rim chips; the one chip appearing to possibly have happened during firing as it has glaze on the surface. Several other blips in the clay and glaze pops on surface, shown in closeups. Measures 11 1/4″ across the rim x 12″ tall. See photos showing all sides. Crock will be double boxed and properly padded.
