This is a hard to find 5 gallon Red Wing Stoneware beehive jug with the rounded shoulders. There is the cobalt 5 on front along with the Red Wing trade mark and Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. Red Wing Minn oval logo. This is a very heavy stoneware jug with an applied handle. It is 16 1/2 inches tall and 11 3/4 inches in diameter. This is the early rounded top version. Excellent condition with no hairlines or repairs. Has several chips on the rim. A nice clean jug with no stains.
