Rare Unusual Chinese Sancai Tang Dynasty Figural Phoenix Glazed Stoneware Ewer
An antique Chinese Tang Dynasty style Sancai Pottery figural Phoenix Ewer. The pottery features a figural warrior riding a galloping horse, a bow and arrow in hand, carved in high relief on both sides. Painted in the traditional amber, green and white colors with a glaze and drip finish. The Ewer measures approximately 11 inches tall. Shows signs of wear commensurate with time, age and use.
