19th Century 2 Gallon Cobalt Decorated Stoneware Ovoid Jug N. Clark & Co Lyons. This is a wonderful 19th century cobalt decorated stoneware 2-gallon ovoid jug by N. It stands approximately 14-1/2 tall. The front shows the stylized cobalt floral decoration, the 2 gallon capacity number, and impressed N. CLARK & CO LYONS maker’s mark. It is in beautiful estate condition with NO repairs and NO restorations. It shows production firing flaws, along with a chip on the frontside of the bulbous lip and a faint spider-line on the lower backside, all shown in the close-up photos.
