Pictured is an early Rockingham glazed yellow ware flask offered for sale. The flask is embossed with the busts of two different Victorian ladies, both having great detail. It measures 7 1/2 in height & dates from 1870 – 1895. It’s in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. The later picture shows a small flake at the corner edge of the base. The flake was caused by an inmanufacture “kiln tear” when the flask was released (torn) from the supporting kiln furniture or spacers.
