Gorgeous Example of a 19th Century RARE, 4 Gallon Double Birch Leaves Union Stoneware Co. Hand applied “4” also in blue. Beautifully done tight, STRONG handle, with thumb prints bottom. The throw rings are just visible on the outside of this old jug and really add beauty and. You can find CROCKS with the Solid Blue Union Stoneware Co. Mark, but JUGS, they are RARE indeed. The only apologies are a very tight, stable old 1 hairline on the spout (please see last two pictures) It’s. Photograph so there’s an outside and inside angle set of photos. A 1/2 inside only hairline opposite it. An absolutely gorgeous jug, nice and clean, and ready to add to display. Measures: 16″ Tall x 11″ Across.
