ANTIQUE BLUE DECORATED STONEWARE BIRD JUG. 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped E. Bird and floral decoration. 1st time offered this was in my moms collection I remember this in the late 1950s in our home in Gramercy Park and it was an antique then. This jug sports has a Bird Perched on a floral Branch in cobalt blue. The bird has many tail feathers, while the branch has lots of leaves and 3 dots. The cobalt is vibrant and shiny. A minor flake on the spout. No cracks, or restoration. Stoneware isn’t my forte please ask any questions i have not answered or if you need more pictures.
