Antique 19th Century Salt Glazed Pottery Stoneware Amphora Shaped Vessel or Bottle on Forged Iron Stand #2. Here is a quite unusual salt glazed earthenware or stoneware item. With amphora shaped bottom, it can stay on a stand only. It is a bottle or a vessel of a kind with a specific use that is unknown to us. The bottom has incised marking 3 LL, or S 77 (it depends from what direction is being looked at). Very decorative and beautiful. Great mated dark brown color. Dates back to the 19th century.
