Superb cobalt blue and pristine white glaze decorate the lid and sidewalls. The raised eagle design is rare and the entire vessel, the heavy wire handle and the dry, turned wooden hand grasp are all in wonderfully well-preserved antique condition. Gorgeous surfaces and incredible condition. Right out of a fine estate on the North Shore of Massachusetts, where it had been for many, many years.
