Antique Hand Painted 1 Gal. Stoneware Jug Pennsylvania Dutch Folk Art Primitive
This antique 1 gallon stoneware jug is handmade and features Pennsylvania Dutch folk art primitive style. It has a round shape with multicolor hand-painted designs. The jug includes handles and is made of stoneware using pottery production technique. It was manufactured in the United States during the early 1900s, showcasing earthenware production style. You can see that it was decorated at two different times, the earlier around the bottom which has fading as shown. The decoration around the top looks to be an applique that has been sealed down.
