Available for sale is an attractive one gallon redware sewer tile jug. The jug was produced by the Knights Pottery Co. Akron, Ohio & dates from 1895 – 1915. The company specialized in the manufacture of early chemical or chemist bottles. This is an especially clean example with no damage or wear whatsoever. It measures 10 3/4″ in height and 6 1/2″ in base diameter. Note: The jug is unmarked by the maker. Novel design in that the jug has a side spout. For a left handed person!
