Cowden’s Pottery of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania comes this hand crafted 1 gallon ovoid shaped primitive salt glazed jug. 3 chips noted to outer spout, easily seen in photos. Floral blue glaze shows burst bubbles/blanches from the firing process see photos. 1 area, seen in photos, of lower petal glaze loss from process. Potter’s marks noted on the body. Blue glaze also highlights the handle terminals. A few drip marks noted from candle wax during use I opted not to remove. Dimensions: 11″ height; 7″ width at belly; 6 width at base; 5lbs 3oz weight.
