A Scarce Dalton Pottery Stoneware Log Cabin Bank. A lovely, decorative piece of late 19. Here’s a gorgeous find! This late 1800s stoneware decorative cabin bank was made by E. Featuring a lovely, muted palette with browns, greens, and blues, and a thick glaze, this attractive piece can be the star of your Early American stoneware display! This piece is unsigned, as are many of the cabins. There is an engraved “R” on the bottom of the piece. The body and chimney are hollow; likely this item was used as a bank. This piece is in EXCELLENT condition! There is some glaze chipping on the raised points; especially to the log structures. There is a small nick to the front top of the chimney. This piece is otherwise free from damage, flaw, and repair. The overglaze is bright and the paint and patina is charming and becoming. Height: 6 in Length: 7 in Width: 5 ¼ in. Your item will come from a pet and smoke-free home. If you are not satisfied, please let me know and allow me the opportunity to make it right. Thank you for looking and I look forward to having your business! It is your responsibility to return the item to me in the same condition it was sent to you.
