Such a lovely and uncommon antique salt glaze stoneware pitcher for your consideration. Features pronounced wide vertical ribs and both upward and downward fleur-de-lis embossing within its shapely bulbous form. Well applied handle remains firmly attached. The pitcher remains in near pristine as-fired condition with no cracks, hairlines or repairs; only note two small base edge chips as shown. Color is a warm antique white (much closer to the color of a bristol slip glaze rather than white ironstone) with a nice shine to its glaze. Measures 11-1/2″ from its base to its graceful spout, 7″ across its bulbous center and has a 5 base diameter. Will be carefully packed and double boxed. It’s a pottery mainstay that’s. Stood the test of time, and its graceful form is certain to bring strong visual appeal to your collection! I aim to describe and picture my items through your eyes but know there may be things important to you of which I’m not aware. Since the desired character wear on antiques and vintage goods varies by person, please study my photos as an important part of my description and ask questions if further details are necessary. Thanks a bunch for stopping by and for your consideration!
