This is a special crock; the Blue Oval below the Red Wing was the first Oval used by Red Wing after they merged with Union Pottery. The two-gallon crock the perfect size for display in your kitchen! Red Wing / Union Pottery introduced the Red Wing Logo around 1906, it was first issued at 6-inches wide, then reduced to 4-inches wide, and then to the more common 2-inch-wide logo. There are a few chips that have been obviously repaired. The crock is very solid and sturdy. Hairline crack at the bottom noted in photos. EXCELLENT CONDITION Considering It’s Age!
