These nesting bowls were made in clay by Clay City Pottery in the very early 1920’s, in the pattern of Blue Picket Fence. They were hand made and were called Stoneware. Not many (if any) have all 4 bowls and in as good condition as these are. These bowls where crudely made as you can see in the last picture. They wouldn’t past inspections now. It would be a honor to own these bowls. Just knowing what they existed through is a marvel. Because I’d like to find them a good home I’m reducing them. “REDUCED PRICE” “REDUCED PRICE” “REDUCED PRICE” “REDUCED PRICE”. For being made of clay in the early 1920’s I find them in very good condition. Because of their age and being delicate I will have to send them in 2 boxes packing them very special. Number 3 bowl has the most damage. It has 1 large chip on the rim 2″ long pictured in picture 8 & 9 and a smaller one 1/2″ long in picture 9. The last picture is of the side of the smallest bowl with chips of paint missing. Other than that any and all chips are very small and most are pictured. They each measure Large one first. 5″ tall, 10 1/2″ across the top. Number Three bowl the one with the large chip. 4″ tall, 8 1/2″ across the top. 3 1/2″ tall, 6 3/4″ across the top. Number four the smallest. 2 1/2″ tall, 5 1/4″ across the top one pictured in last photo.
