Here for sale is a great 18th to early 19th century pottery inkwell. Often referred to now as a ” Hockey Puck ” inkwell because of their form and shape, it is made from stoneware, and nice to be American in origin. It measures 3 1/4 inches across the top by 1 1/2 inches tall. It has a larger hole in the center, and is hollow inside to hold the ink, and also has one quill hole. Excellent condition, a wonderful example, great to add to your desk display.
