It is a really nicely made Wonderful Ovoid Shaped Salt Glazed pottery Crock or Jug The crock is very nicely made with a great shaped spout and nicely made Ovoid Shape. It is a salt glazed piece of pottery and has a very pleasing form as you can see in the photos. It appears to be an early example. It is in good to very good condition with the condition being described above. See details above and view photos as they are the best representation of condition. Measures approximately 9.5″ tall and 4.25″ diameter (from edge to edge) at base and approx 6.75 wide (hard to measure) at widest point of crock not including the applied handle.
