A very special piece. Green highlights on Beige pottery – stoneware. BUTTER on one side. Honeycomb pattern on sides of lid, Swirled patterns on the side of crock along with another motif of apricots. The Blue and White in this exact pattern are easier to find. Also some have wooden hand-savers on the metal handle, but this doesn’t. Perhaps it pre-dates the one with wood handles — Incredible piece — Farm family owned southeastern United States. (North / South Carolina).
