Up for sale is this exceptional six-gallon stoneware churn by the potter P. Smith of Summit County, Ohio. Smith is a very well-known potter from Akron and potted during the mid 1800’s. This churn features a very uncommon Smith design that depicts a flower in the middle of a circle or something else. The condition is very nice in almost as made condition and dates around 1860. Please see all photos, No PO Boxes unless requested prior to sale. Dimensions 19 1/4″ tall and 8 3/4″ in diameter not. Counting handles just the outside of lip to the other outside.
