Antique French Gargoulette Stoneware Pottery Water Jug Unglazed 19th Century. No chips or cracks. Some surface wear and minor signs of use but nothing prominent. Holds and pours water as intended. These Gargoulettes would be used to cool boiling water at a fast rate as the clay helps to cool liquids rapidly. This unique piece has been left unglazed and has beautiful texture.
