Pictured is an uncommon & infrequently seen brown “Girl with Dog” stoneware pitcher offered for sale. The overglaze has a uncommon light cinnamon brown appearance. The embossed decoration is better than most with the young girl seen sitting upon a small stool & the dog standing upright & begging for a treat. The pitcher measures 8 3/4 in height and dates from 1905 – 1925. It’s in excellent condition with no nicks, damage or hairlines whatsoever. This item is in the category “Antiques\Primitives”.
