19th Century Remmey Stoneware Crock
19th Century Remmey Stoneware Crock. Beautiful 1 gallon stoneware crock made during the 19th century attributed to Remmey. Decorated with cobalt feather design. There are three blemishes on the crock which can be seen in pictures 7 & 8. All appear to have occurred during the firing process. The last picture shows the crackling of the glaze which adds lovely character to the piece and is indicative of its age. There are no other cracks.
