Antique Yellow Ware Bowls Nesting Set. Lovely early yellow ware mixing bowl set with attractive buttery golden color and simple 4 stripe decoration. 2 tan slip bands separated by two white bands. All bowls have a footed base and a rolled rim. Large bowl is approximately 4 3/4″ in height x 10 1/2″ diameter. Medium bowl is approximately 4″ in height x 8″ diameter. Smallest bowl is approximately 3″ in height x 6″ diameter. Bowls are in very good used yellow ware condition. Lightly used utensil marks. Small bowl has a worn (old) glazing chip on inside bottom. A few manufacturing marks including triangle stand marks from stacking in kiln. Glazing imperfections and checking that as expected from antique glazed yellow ware utensils. If checking is not present, a question IS IT OLD should be asked and if it isn’t worn, it was not used! Very few glazed items that are 100 or more years old don’t have some sort of checking.
