This is a antique stamped 1 gallon blue cobalt stamped Manuel Enos New Bedford, Mass salt glazed stoneware jug. Found in a New Bedford Directory from 1895 a listing for a saloon located at So. Water Street and owned by a Manuel Enos. It measures approximately 11 1/2 inches height by 7 inches base diameter. It is in nice antique condition. Does have in the making shrinkage drying lines on outside bottom edge along with scattered spout chips. A beautiful shiny salt glazed finish & wonderful cobalt stamping.
