Pictured is an uncommon & infrequently seen blue & grey Whites Utica ice bucket offered for sale. The stoneware container is embossed in the fashion of an old wooden bucket with rope or twine as staves. Embossed is a large block of ice held by an ice tong on each side. The tapered bucket measures 4 1/4″ in height, 6 1/8″ in rim diameter, & dates from 1890 – 1906. It’s in excellent condition with a single small flake at the base.
