Antique 5-gallon brown-top stoneware whiskey storage Jug with applied loop handle – Crock is stamped with the no. 5 inside of a blue heart. The jug is in excellent condition with the original cork (I did not try to remove the cork, because it is really snug). There is some chipping on bottom of one side (see pic 6). The other marks are in the glaze from manufacturing process. Piece measures 19″ tall x 11-1/2″ across the base – Weight is 23 lbs 6 oz. This jug was in my Dad’s collection, he passed 12 years ago so I do not have the history on where he obtained the piece. Please view all pictures for validation of condition.
