Pictured is a substantial brown Albany slip glazed presentation bowl offered for sale. The folk art shoulder bowl, perhaps a lunch hour or end-of-day production, is incised in script “for Mary Krohm”. On the lower left side is a small incised song bird as well. The decoration is sharp & crisp, well pronounced. Midwest produced, it dates from 1880 – 1915. It measures 4 3/4″ in height and 10 1/2″ in diameter. The bowl is in excellent condition with a small nick & sliver on the lower edge of the shoulder band. Picture #4 shows an unglazed area. Certainly an eye-catcher, the bowl celebrates a special occasion for Mary Krohm. This item is in the category “Antiques\Primitives”. The seller is “tebfam044″ and is located in this country: US. This item can be shipped to United States.
