Blue & White SALT Canister Basketweave & Morning Glory Stoneware Salt Glaze
Pictured is an early blue & white covered canister offered for sale. The “Salt” canister is embossed with the Basketweave & Morning Glory design & was produced by the Brush McCoy Pottery Company in southeastern Ohio. The storage container has great detail & has far greater blue coloration than most canisters seen. 6 1/4 in overall height & dates from 1905 – 1925. It’s in excellent condition. Noted for accuracy, are several nicks & slivers on the underside unglazed footer only. The cover is perfect. This item is in the category “Antiques\Primitives”.
