Pictured is a small blue & white spongeware Grandmother’s Maple Syrup jug available for sale. The jug exhibits a dark cobalt blue decoration with an eye-appealing uniform sponging. The jug measures but 5 1/4 in height & dates from 1905 – 1925. It’s in excellent condition with no nicks, damage or repairs. It is elaborately embossed on the underside with the maker’s mark MFG’D BY F. WEEKS – STYLE XXX – PAT. PENDING – AKRON, O.
