Small Diffused Blue & White Stoneware NUTMEG Spice Jar Canister Salt Glaze
Pictured is a small blue & white spice jar canister with cover offered for sale. The diffused blue stoneware spice is stenciled with gold gilding NUTMEG. & has two gold gilded bands. The matching cover has embossed diagonal bands which complement the jar’s base. It measures 4 in overall height & dates from 1905 – 1925. As seen, the spice jar is in excellent condition, the cover has two flakes on the underside. Note: There are perhaps a total of six (6) large canisters & six small spice jars to the complete set of storage containers. This item is in the category “Antiques\Primitives”.
