Novel Blue & White Stoneware Pie Plate Embossed Trellis Salt Glaze
Pictured is an uncommon & infrequently seen blue & white stoneware pie plate offered for sale. The plate has an embossed Trellis design around the body & numerous small squares on the underside. In the center is a large debossed 5-pointed star. The plate measures 1 1/2″ in height, 9 3/8″ in diameter, & dates from 1905 – 1925. It’s in excellent condition with no damage. Seen at 12 o’clock is a very faint 1 1/2 stress inbody hairline on the interior side corner only. No nicks, chips, or repairs. This item is in the category “Antiques\Primitives”.
