Pictured is an early Red Wing Pottery covered casserole dish offered for sale. The casserole is decorated with a red sponge band design around the perimeter of the cover & around the matching base. It measures 7 1/4″ in diameter, 4 1/4″ in overall height, & dates from 1905 – 1925. It’s in excellent condition with no repairs. The underside is bisque, unglazed, & is stamped “MADE IN RED WING”. The last picture shows a 1 inbody inmanufacture stress hairline on the interior side only. This item is in the category “Antiques\Primitives”.
