Rare stoneware script jug for T. McDonough & CO out of Scranton Pennsylvania. Stamped “James Ryan Pittston PA” on the front shoulder. Very unusual and attractive glaze on this jug. Almost has a sandstone appearance to it. Lip of the jug has a small smooth glazed over chip that was likely done in the making. No cracks or other issues. Dimensions shown in last two photos. I do my best to write accurate descriptions and mention any damage or other issues, but please use the photos to judge the overall condition for yourself. If you have any questions feel free to send me a message. This item is in the category “Antiques\Primitives”. The seller is “bottlebingbottlebroome” and is located in this country: US.
